The Contest
Inspiring Indonesia
GIIPC continues to grow and receives exceptional response from photographers and photography communities all around the world. In 2008 there were 4,000 international participants from 20 countries. In 2009, there were 6,170 international participants from 30 countries and 8,050 participants from 36 countries the next year. Over 14,000 pictures were submitted that year.
This year’s qualification-round theme is “My Inspiring Homeland”. Contestants are expected to square off against photographers from Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Iran, Myanmar, the United States, and other countries.
Judges
Ari Suryanta
Ari Suryanta, born in Denpasar on May 6, 1965, is now the Vice President of IT Strategy at Garuda Indonesia (persero) Tbk. His interest in photography began in his middle school years where he autodidactically learn and took part at several workshops.Registration
Entries are accepted from 11th July 2011 – 25th September 2011, 12:00 pm Indonesia Time (GMT +7). Each entrant may enter max. 15 JPEG images.

The Competition is open to all amateur or professional photographers who are residents of Indonesia or foreign nationals, except Indo Multi Media Group employees, Garuda Indonesia or associated company employees and anyone connected with the promotion
